The University of Iowa is adding a basketball player who was part of Indiana’s Class 4A state-championship team this year.

Patrick Ingram, a 6-foot-2 guard from North Central High School in Indianapolis, has announced he will play college ball at Iowa, as this Indianapolis Star story illustrates.

Ingram chose Iowa over Saint Louis and Loyola (Ill.). This Star story on Ingram says he had offers from several more schools.

This site offers this synopsis on Ingram:

Strong body, more of a mid-range shooter than 3pt shooter, likes to get to the rim.
