Hot-air balloons lit up the light sky on the lawn of the Brucemore historic site Tuesday night, part of the Balloon Glow Freedom Festival event at the southeast Cedar Rapids mansion.

Buoyed by near-perfect summer weather, Hundreds of onlookers took in the spectacle.
