Nice gesture at under-13 baseball game

I ran into a very nice person today at the baseball complex at Mount Vernon Road and Highway 13 in Cedar Rapids.

I was part of a KCRG 9.2 crew that was broadcasting live a couple of under-13 baseball games.

There wasn’t much time for breaks and it was hot out.

I was running the camera near third base when a woman asked: “Do you need anything?”

I first declined but she insisted to help. She did end up getting me a water out of the station cooler.

She also said that she’d take bottles out to our first-base camera operator as well as the outfield camera operator.

It was greatly appreciated.
