Former Iowa guard Cully Payne will attend Loyola on a basketball scholarship, according to the Arlington Heights (Ill.)  Daily Herald.

Payne, who started his first 37 games at Iowa, elected to transfer from the Hawkeyes 11 days ago. Payne, a Schaumburg, Ill., native, will play for new coach Porter Moser, who hails from Naperville. Former Iowa player Rodell Davis was named a Loyola assistant last week.
