Iowa to increase football ticket prices next fall

Iowa will raise football ticket prices by $2 per game for the general public for the 2011 season, UI Athletics Director Gary Barta said today.

Student ticket prices increase by $1 per game.

Iowa will not raise ticket prices for men’s basketball, women’s basketball and wrestling, Barta said.

Last year Iowa raised general public season tickets by $3 a game. It was the school’s the first increase since 2007.
