Commissioner says Big Ten may revisit division names
Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany said Thursday's he's willing to revisit the "Legends" and "Leaders" division names announced by the conference earlier this week.
Reaction to the division names has been almost universally negative, which Delany says came as a surprise to league officials.
" ... to get a 90 percent non-approval rating was really surprising," Delany told WGN Radio in Chicago Thursday. "It showed that we didn't connect with our fans in a way that we wanted to."
