Big Ten appears open to dumping Leaders and Legends

Big Ten Commissioner was surprised to see a 90 percent disapproval rating for his league's football division names, Legends and Leaders.
I'm surprised, too. Surprised that 10 percent said they approved.
Delany said this on WGN-AM radio in Chicago:
It showed that we didn't connect with our fans in a way that we wanted to. It's humbling, to say the least, because we're trying to build fan bases, not push them away. So I was surprised. I've been around this business a long time, and I would say it's one of the more surprising things.
Everyone makes mistakes. Delany has done a lot of things right as the commish. This one can be corrected. Better to acknowledge errors than let them live through eternity.
