FoxSports.com reports former Iowa assistant coach Greg Lansing is the leading candidate to take over as head coach at Indiana State today. Coach Kevin McKenna resigned as head coach Monday to become Dana Altman's lead assistant at Oregon. Lansing, a Harlan native and later Des Moines resident, was a seven-year assistant at Iowa.

Former Iowa assistant LaVall Jordan now is an assistant at Michigan, but not without some controversy, writes the Detroit Free Press. Jordan served as an assistant coach under Todd Lickliter the last three years.
