Marcus Coker has committed to play running back at Iowa, according to the Washington Post's Josh Barr.

Here's the story

Coker is a 6-foot, 230-pounder with offers from Minnesota and Wake Forest. He is from DeMatha High School, the same school that produced former Iowa point guard Jeff Peterson.

From the story:

Said DeMatha Coach Bill McGregor: "He's incredibly strong and a pretty good athlete. He's the first once since I've been at DeMatha to go to Iowa. They've done a pretty good job recruiting out of this area. They've got two kids out of Gilman going to Iowa. ... So many schools are coming into the D.C. area to recruit kids and they have a legitimate shot at getting the kids."

Coker is Iowa's 11th commitment and first running back for the 2010 class. Here is a bunch of Coker video.
