This database includes residential, commercial and industrial property transactions taking place since January 2007. Information is updated on a monthly basis.

The Johnson County and Iowa City assessors' offices provide this information, which is available as public records. The Iowa City Assessor's Office handles transactions in Iowa City, while the Johnson County Assessor's Office handles all other areas of the county, including Coralville and North Liberty.

Both offices are located in the Johnson County Administration Building, 913 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City. The Iowa City Assessor's Office can be reached at (319) 356-6606 while the Johnson County office can be reached at (319) 356-6078.

Some records may look like they are duplicates, but may represent different land parcels which may be located at the same address, or changes to information outside the scope of this database.
